Accountants typically spend most of their time pouring through balance sheets, financial statements, and ledgers. On the surface, it doesn’t sound very festive in any traditional sense. However, during the holiday season, Bowman & Company LLP staff lend their time & talents to a very special cause: auditing Santa’s “Nice List” and toy inventory! Thanks to the generosity of dozens of our team members, a large number of toys were donated to a local branch of Toys for Tots, a national nonprofit organization helping families in need during the holidays.
Bowman & Company LLP services a wide variety of Not-for-Profit organizations. Serving these types of businesses means going above our duties as professionals but making an impact on a personal level. Identifying needs in the community and performing charity help us remember how important these organizations are to everyone.
This December, Bowman personnel Joe Sirolli (pictured center) and Nick Garcia (pictured second from the right) dropped off a supply of toys for Toys for Tots. We would not only like to thank our staff for their participation in this year’s program, but also appreciate the Berlin Police Department for their organization and cooperation with this wonderful program.
Our personnel-fueled efforts extend beyond the Winter holidays. Just last month, dozens of Bowman employees contributed to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey (CFBNJ), an initiative organized in conjunction with the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA). The CFBNJ is a member of Feeding America ©, with a history of supporting those in need in New Jersey for over 45 years.
We are thankful for the individuals at Bowman that contribute to these causes and are proud to have them represent the Firm in our surrounding communities. We believe that this type of behavior embodies how leaders in the accounting industry should act.
On behalf of Bowman & Company LLP, have a wonderful Holiday Season and a Happy New Year!
