Dennis Skalkowski joined Bowman & Company LLP in 2003 and was elected Partner on July 1, 2022. Mr. Skalkowski serves in the Firm’s Commercial Services Department as Co-Chair. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Public School Accountant (PSA) licensed to practice in New Jersey. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rutgers University.
EXPERIENCE
His career includes extensive experience with audits of not-for-profit organizations, including private schools for the disabled. Dennis also has significant experience with governmental entities and not-for-profit organizations with audits conducted in accordance with Government Auditing Standards and the Single Audit Act. He has extensive experience of auditing joint insurance funds and county insurance fund commissions conducted in accordance with Government Auditing Standards and regulations with the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance and the Department of Community Affairs. In the commercial arena, Dennis has expertise with auditing and accounting services including construction contractors, medical practices, retail, and wholesalers. He also serves as team member performing peer reviews of other CPA firms.
