Kenneth M. Drewes
Ken joined the Governmental Services Department of the Firm in 2009. His areas of expertise are the audits of county and municipal governments, school districts, charter schools, fire districts, and federal and state financial assistance programs. He is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant, Registered Municipal Accountant, and as a Public School Accountant in New Jersey. He has also been certified by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Division of Local Government Services as a Certified Municipal Finance Officer. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rowan University located in Glassboro, New Jersey. He resides in Washington Township, Gloucester County with his wife, Christine, and their two children.
During his career, Mr. Drewes has performed audit services for municipal, county, school district, charter school and fire district clients most subject to the requirements of the Single Audit Law. He has also developed and served as an instructor for various continuing professional education seminars involving municipal and school district accounting. In addition, he serves as a member of the Firm’s quality control inspection team.
Michael J. Thilker
Mike has over a decade of accounting and auditing experience. He is a member of the Commercial Services Department. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP). He has a BS in Business Administration from Widener University with a specialization in Accounting.
Mr. Thilker’s clients mainly include housing authorities and non-profit affordable housing organizations. His additional experience includes audits of non-profits. Many of these clients are either Single Audits or have required some degree of compliance testing. His engagements also include System and Organization Controls (SOC) Reporting, of both type 1 and type 2. He has lectured on multiple topics, including SOC Reporting & non-profits.
Josette P. Traversa
Josette is licensed to practice in New Jersey as a Certified Public Accountant. She primarily focuses on tax matters and is responsible for a wide range of individuals & businesses. She graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Rider University. She currently resides in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
Josette’s experience includes tax consulting & review for individuals, partnerships, and S Corporations. She also has experience advising individuals on international and domestic tax issues. Josette handles a broad range of international tax matters including foreign tax credits, tax treaties, pre-immigration and expatriation tax planning. She was previously a partner at a national accounting firm and instrumental in the development of their international tax practice.
