Bowman & Company LLP is proud to announce that we have been selected “Company of the Year” in 2024 by the National Association of Women Business Owners’ (NAWBO) South Jersey Chapter. We congratulate the winners of several other honoree categories and commend all nominees for this year’s awards on their tremendous value to South Jersey. Bowman is thrilled to be recognized for something we care about so passionately; this women’s history month, we want women in our community to see Bowman as an example of positive local influence in industry representation.
Since 1975, the NAWBO has expanded to over 11.6 million members and has impacted the business landscape throughout the nation with their local chapters. We are delighted to be a sponsor of NAWBO, as we share many of the same goals and values. We encourage our personnel to get involved in organizations that make an impact, and NAWBO SJ certainly does. Similar to how Bowman educates clients on developing financial legislation, the NAWBO is an important resource for women entrepreneurs and professionals. The NAWBO alerts their members of “local, state, and national public policy issues that impact business”. Additionally, the NAWBO extensively advocates for public policy relating to women’s issues.
Bowman & Company’s current management is comprised of women whose expertise & leadership are crucial to our success and future. Bowman’s management includes four Partners, one Partner-Elect, five Senior Managers, our Firm Administrator, and several managers who are all women. We are thankful that our industry, beyond Bowman & Company LLP, has been trending as more inclusive than ever before; for the past ten years, women have made up over 50% of accounting degree completions, according to the AICPA 2023 Trends Report (PDF Link).
Our Firm has supported multiple women-oriented organizations over the years. These range from a variety of causes, including:

- Girl’s mentorship programs
