Bowman & Company LLP Partner Harry Wills – current president of the NJCPA – recently attended and spoke at the 62nd Annual Scholarship Awards Program. This program finances a variety of scholarships through the NJCPA Scholarship Fund, including the Bowman-funded Lisa A. Donahue scholarship (read this Bowman blog to learn more about the 2022 Lisa A. Donahue scholarship recipient).  Also included in this program is the John F. Dailey, Jr. scholarship, which was awarded to Justin Barnhard of Farleigh Dickinson University. The NJCPA Scholarship Fund has impacted the lives of numerous young aspiring accountants.

Recipients, NJCPA members, and donors were all invited on April 26 to attend the event to celebrate the well-deserving students of the program. Since June 2021 Harry Wills has been the president of the NJCPA. Bowman & Company – as well as the New Jersey community at large – benefit from his leadership in organizations such as the NJCPA.

Mr. Wills is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Mr. Wills’ area of focus is in taxation and the audits of employee benefit plans. His clients include law firms, insurance agencies, construction and manufacturing corporations, wholesalers and distributors, hotels, and investment entities.
